There are several talks and events taking place on the Max Planck Campus, for scientists and students as well as for general audiences. Not only our own scientists, but also well-known guests from all over the world are presenting up-to-date research from different fields of the life sciences, e.g. neurobiology, cognitive sciences, cell biology, genetics and bioinformatics.

Weekly Seminars
Our seminar series are taking place in English language and are addressed at scientists and students on campus. However, guests and colleagues from the University and other institutes are very welcome to join in.
Monday / Wednesday Colloquium (MoKo /MiKo)
Common
colloquium of the Max Planck Institutes for Biological Cybernetics and
Developmental Biology and the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory. Internationally
known guests present topics that are of general interest - also for
colleagues from other scientific fields. Each seminar if followed by a
reception, which provides direct access to the speakers in an informal
setting.
Time & Place. Mondays and Wednesdays at 6.00 pm (according to announcement) in the Lecture Hall of the Max Planck Guesthouse

Tuesday Colloquium (DiKo)
Colloquium of the Max Planck Intitute for Developmental Biology and the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory. In this lecture series, our Postdocs and Ph.D. students as well as outside guests present their current research topics.
